Personal Surveys are issued by companies looking for a specific criteria. You fill in the requested information and if you fit into the demographic that the survey is looking for, you proceed. If you are ineligible, the survey ends and notifies you that you aren't what they are looking for.

What is a Trial Offer?

It is as it sounds. You sign up to either test a service or product. GPT websites offer much larger earnings on Trial Offers, but a credit card is usually required.

There are two types of Trial Offers -- Service Trials and Product Trials.

Service Trials require that you sign up for a trial membership which can range from between 7 and 30 days. Some are free, but you MUST remember to cancel the trial membership. If you do not cancel the trial membership within the allotted trial period, your credit card will be charged the standard monthly fee for that site. Also, you cannot simply sign up for a trial membership and cancel immediately. Doing so will prevent you from getting your GPT account credit.

Some actually require you sign up for membership. Either way, you will almost always be offered a GPT account earnings that is greater then your cost.

Product Trials want you to test a particular product. The product itself is free, but in most cases you are required to pay shipping which ranges from $1.95 to $4.95. IMPORTANT: For many Product Trial Offers, you will also be automatically signed up for a trial membership of some kind. Be sure to read the Terms And Conditions CAREFULLY to see how long the trial membership will last.

Trial offers are a good way to earn money faster, but more 'work' is required. So long as you ensure that you are happy with the GPT earning amount minus your costs they are another method to increase your earnings.

As previously stated yes you do. However, an alternative is to get a prepaid credit card. They work exactly like a normal credit card, but there is a set amount of money on it. Why is my account not being credited for a survey that I completed?

In order to prevent as much redundancy in surveys as possible, companies use Internet cookies to 'track' who is taking them. The same email or registered information showing up for the same survey company sends a red flag. It is HIGHLY recommended that you have several email accounts and rotate them between offers. Also, be sure to clear your internet cookies between offers. These two, simple steps will greatly increase your offer approval rates. This applies mainly to Freebies, not Trial Offers or Daily Surveys.

Making Money With Treasuretrooper

Treasuretrooper is a website that I came across in January 2008. It is what is commonly referred to as a GPT (Get Paid To) website. It's a great way to make money online and unlike so many other money making schemes you hear about, Treasuretrooper is legitimate, legal and very simple to use.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY USING TREASURETROOPER

There are several different methods in which to make money using Treasuretrooper. The baisc categories are: Freebies, Trial Offers, Daily Survey, Treasure Hunt, Slot Machine and Contests.

Freebies:

In most cases, Freebies are on line surveys or questionaires that ask demographical questions; email address, name, number, address, nationality, etc. They are very simple to do and generally take about 2 - 3 minutes. In turn, an average payout to you for filling out this information is between $.50 and $1.00.

Trial Offers:

Trial Offers are exactly what they sound. You are actually paid to test out a product or service. In some cases, the Trial Offer is free and you are simply paid a certain amount to evaluate. In other cases you need to pay a small upfront processing fee or pay for at least one term of membership. In most cases a credit card is required.

Most people are hesitant and turned off by this idea. Admittedly, so was I. However, in 99% of the Trial Offers, what you are paid far exceeds what you pay. For example, two really great offers are Blockbuster and Lifelock. Both require that you pay for at least one month of membership which is about $9.00. In turn, you are paid $18.00 from Blockbuster and $17.50 from Lifelock. If you are unsatisfied or disinterested in the service, simply cancel before the monthly membership is over and you have no further obligations, but you still keep what you were compensated. Now multiply this concept to the hundred or so different trial offers available on Treasuretrooper, and you start to get the idea.

Daily Surveys:

Daily Surveys are surveys about various things ranging from TV preferences to shopping behaviors. Treasuretrooper offers 2 daily surveys that can be taken every 24 hours. The first survey pays you $.75 and the second pays you $1.00. They take anywhere from 10 mintues to 30 minutes to complete. They annoyed me at first, but eventually I got used to taking them. It does take a bit of discipline, but remember, the amounts do add up to a pretty hefty reward.

Treasure Hunt:

Free $100. Yep. The Treasuretrooper treasure hunt is a series of things you need to do in order to retrive "The Lost Statue". Upon completion, you are given $100. It does require patience as aquiring the different items needed to finish the hunt takes a bit of time. The good thing is that the items you need to aquire are done so by simply doing basic things on Treasuretrooper. I personally just finished it about 3 weeks ago. It was long, but WELL worth it.

Slot Machine:

This is a fun addition to the Treasuretrooper website. For each offer (Freebie or Trial) that you complete, you also receive gold coins. These coins can be used at the Treasuretrooper slot machine. You can win different things such as more gold coins, pearls (used to gain referrals), platinum coins (used at the trading hut to redeem for prizes), money straight to your account and relics. There are 4 relics and winning all 4 earns you a nice little bonus. What that bonus is I can't say since I have only 3 of the 4 relics so far.

Contests:

The Treasuretrooper forum has a variety of contests for it's members. These are fun ways to not only interact with other Treasuretrooper members, but also earn additional money. These contests range from simply posting to answering trivia questions to a monthly jackpot.

To get started you will first need to register as a member. Simply enter your information which must be accurate and current. A confirmation email will be sent to the email you used to sign up. Simply click the confirmation link in the email and you're ready to go.
